Trust is the product. Here is how we treat the documents and data you give us, in plain language, without claiming certifications we haven't earned.
We work for shops, not carriers
BlindSpot only sells to collision repair shops. We have no carrier products and no carrier relationships, and we never share your estimates or repair orders with an insurer. Your documents are used to produce your output. Nothing else.
How your documents are handled
- Encrypted in transit over HTTPS
- Access limited to the people who need it to run the service
- Used only to generate your audit, supplement, and balance statements
- Retained only as long as needed, and deleted on request
How the numbers are produced
Every figure BlindSpot produces comes from deterministic arithmetic against your documents, with the source of each number traceable to its line item or citation. We do not hand your money math to a black-box model and hope it's right.
If something goes wrong
No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your data, we will investigate, contain it, and notify affected customers without undue delay so you can take any steps on your end.
Sub-processors
We use a short, vetted list of service providers to run BlindSpot, and they may process data only to provide their service to us. The current list is published on our DPA page and we keep it up to date.
Deleting your data
Want your documents or contact details removed? Email vraj@byeblindspot.com and we will delete them.
An honest note
This page describes our practices today as an early-stage company. It is not a formal security certification such as SOC 2. As we grow we will add formal controls and update this page, and we won't claim certifications we haven't earned.
